  I bought new speakers and stereo for my car online and installed them myself. I was having trouble getting the two front speakers to work. There was a slot of static. I took my car to Northside Electronics because they were local. They charged me $128.10 to rewire the wiring harness. Now all the speakers work, but the same static is coming through the right rear speaker. I listened to the stereo before leaving and brought it to their attention. Their diagnosis was a blown rear speaker. It would be another $110 and $30 to install a set of rear speakers. These speakers are brand new. What a ripoff. Did they not even listen to the stereo before they told me it was ready? Looks like I'll have to go to Durham or Raleigh to get this fixed. So much for supporting local businesses. Do not go here. They will rip you off. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.
